Welcome to One Above Driving Academy!

We are excited to offer our Driver’s Education course, which is required for all new drivers seeking a license in the state of Maryland. This course includes ten classroom sessions and six hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction (please see details below). Classes will be on the following dates: June 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 , 29 July, 1, 2 & 3rd. 

The course will be led by Miss Perach Mihalli and offered in a hybrid format, allowing students to attend either in person or virtually via Zoom. In-person classes will take place at our office located at 4813 Seton Drive, Baltimore, MD 21215. The in-person experience is designed to be engaging and exciting—we offer a spacious conference room, serve refreshments, and encourage students to attend in person for the full experience! A large TV will be set up in the conference room to display virtual participants so everyone feels connected.

For the behind-the-wheel portion of the course, students must have a learner’s permit before beginning in-car instruction. The Maryland Vehicle Administration (MVA) tracks the number of behind-the-wheel hours each driving school owes to its student body. For every student enrolled, six hours are added to this total, and the MVA encourages schools to keep their owed hours low. For that reason, we kindly ask that all students complete their six hours of driving instruction by November1st, when school resumes after the Sukkos break. This gives students approximately six months—including summer and Sukkus break—to complete their driving time.

The total cost of the course is $445. If you choose to purchase the course through our website, please be sure to complete both the purchase and enrollment process. Alternatively, students can send payment via Zelle to 667-770-8926 to avoid a 3.5% processing fee. After sending payment, please text the same number  with the student’s name, email, and phone number to be added to the class.
